It seems IRON know how to keep Xaeon happy! Bring him fun events, big nasties to kill and some sexy loot and he will love you forever!

Aguk who saddly has left the linkshell ( all the best of luck to you man! ) passed on Nashira legs to Xaeon which was very nice of him, and the following day in dynamis I managed to win lots on the Duelist Tabard for RDM, completing all of my Beadecine dynamis items, and starting my RDM AF2 set, but this was not all I received from that dynamis.







Attestation of Force is the rare item dropped from Relic Weapon notorious monsters, and is used to upgrade to the final stages of relic weapons. This one is for the relic great axe, and i was very fortunate to get it since people have been charged 80m+ gil to get in the past, woah!

Catch Up Time

Hey there, I know its been a while but hey things have been changing, so lets catch up on whats been happening in the world of Vana'diel.


NEW LINKSHELL ALERT


A month ago IRON, one of the most succesfull and respected linkshells on the Bismarck(and others) server. and EventHorizon decided to merge for the greater good. We decided to keep the name IRON for the 'new' linkshell and so Xaeon is now a fully pledged IRON member.

Our first week as IRON was amazing, Jormungand kill, 2 Tiamat kills, 16 AF2 Dropping in Xarcabard along with a shadow mantle and Relic Horn fragment in a single run, and much much more than I could put into words.


So in short, everything I post from here on out, will have happened with IRON, I have a few more posts to follow this one with updates on armor and happenings for Xaeon specifically.

Devout Radol Ja 'the emptyhanded'

So a few LS members were KS farming when they ran across this guy, see NM... kill NM it kinda works that way, only shortly thereafter found that it had 60,000 hp and benediction!



CALL FOR BACKUP!

Within minutes a ton of LS members and our good friend Zwickee came to the rescue, so we recover and take down this bad boy, we knew from its strength and HP amount that this thing must drop something nice.



Unfortunately we were wrong...

Dynamis-Bastok (9/9/06)

So we were a little short on members today, but we do what we can :), got in the killing began, 4AF2 in total and a ton of currency, no hundred pieces sadly.

I got dragoon AF2 through random drop! hurray FAP FAP FAP

A Happy Chocobo

Hurray for ShadowHeart, a few days ago he was feeling under the weather but now hes back to full health, and a very happy chocobo!



It's true that you can always find a moonpie wherever you go, I found this rare type of moonpie sitting on the steps outside the chocobo stable ^^ I will call it Moonpietus Steppsitus. :D

Proto-Ultima #1

So it starts out the same old story, i wake up in the evening... yes the evening UK player in NA end game steals my days away, i log into the game and its the usual chaos associated with FFXI.

(Person 2) X! COME TO FAF
(Xaeon) k omw

So we stand around dragonseeking for a while, he pops, iron claims, iron kills, not a problem. You win some you lose some, try again tommorow ;).

Now heres where the day gets interesting, being the limbusdodger that I am, I had no idea that we were to fight ultima next, and also no idea that I would be in the line-up, but not a problem! lets kill this nasty robot thing.

We enter and all start out with some DoT, HP slowly going down, but steady. Everyones health looking great all relaxed...

Then Charlie dies ; ;. Its cool! NO PROBLEM
Zartans still up we will be fine, but Ultima throws out a shocker and Zartan dies.

Ninjas are down, were doomed to failure, and X cant tank... ok time to roll up sleeves, u gotta learn to blink tank sooner or later Xaeon, *VOKE*

Soon the ninjas are up, their weakness wears, and I'm still alive! I guess i finally learnt.



So we got to the 20% mark, citadel buster was kinda nasty but the melee managed to keep the mob busy while tanks were revived and we pulled through Elvay 2HR ftw! BOOM first kill of Ultima!

We get back to jeuno, and it seems Rellik who is quitting the game is having a fun time putting items in his bazaar for 1k and seeing people fight for him, around 20 people stood at his feet waiting for him to put SH up, so I check it naturally, and buy a scorpian harness for 1000g !

So yep things are going ok! Which leads us to now, writing this blog as im seeking party on corsair (57)!
